My current employment doesn't specifically involve DE. Therefore the DE competencies I reflect upon throughout my VIEWS are not directly relevant to my immediate life experience. As this is the case, I've decided to seperate competency reflections and personal reflections into two.

Therefore I will begin each VIEW with a brief introduction and a reflection upon the competencies I feel that particular VIEW reflects. To make this discussion easier for readers to follow, I will first cite verbatim (from the 'MDE e-portfolio: Core Skills, Knowledge & Competencies' document) the competencies I feel are reflected, and then mention them by number in parenthesis throughout my descriptive paragraphs.

In the second section of each VIEW, I will present a personal reflection on the VIEW itself and its meaning to my current situation, wherein I'm trying to assimilate DE concepts in a non-DE environment. This discussion will be an unravelling, of sorts, of my thought process as the work was being done, and why it caught my interest.
