About Me
Currently, I instruct courses for the School of Business at Okanagan College. My instructing background includes a variety of office administration and computer software courses offered through the Office Administration Certificate program, BC Campus, and the Bachelor of Business programs in both face-to-face and online learning environments.
My employment with Okanagan College and BC Campus has enabled me to gain in-depth knowledge and experience working with a variety of learning management systems. My course development work incorporates learning management systems’ built-in tools, along with Softchalk (authoring tool), Jing, Captivate, Snagit and many more e-learning specific tools that help to provide learners with an engaging and a motivating learning environment.
The completion of the BC Provincial Instructors Diploma program has enhanced my ability to design courses and programs by assessing needs, by creating effective course objectives and by developing various communication and evaluation tools specifically for adult learners.

I will strive to be enthusiastic, supportive, and maintain a positive outlook. I will provide an environment that focuses on problem solving and critical thinking that engages conversations and active listening. I will help learners to acquire the necessary skills to achieve their goal and I will assist students in becoming highly-skilled in office procedures. I will guide learners in becoming responsible, successful members in a business environment. I will commit to ongoing professional development to acquire innovated, up-to-date office skills.
