Overview

Journals are a way of recording your thoughts and experiences within your e-portfolio.  You can add your journal - or individual posts from it - to your portfolio to allow other users to view it and place feedback or comments.

Unless a journal is included in a portfolio page, it is private and cannot be seen by other users. To share a journal, either create a new page or edit an existing page and add in a Journal block.

Enabling multiple journals

By default, you have only one journal. However, it is possible to have more than one journal.  This is useful if you want to have different journals for different courses.

To enable multiple journals, perform the following:

  1. Log into the e-portfolio system.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Check the Enable Multiple Journals so it is enabled.
  4. Click Save.

You can now create a new journal by clicking the Create Journal button.
