Overview

The e-portfolio tool provides you with the ability to manage connections with other users in the e-portfolio system. This is useful for providing limited access to your e-portfolio pages and collections.

Adding connections

To add a new connection, perform the following:

  1. Log into the e-portfolio tool.
  2. Click Groups then Find Connections. A list of users on the site will be displayed in alphabetical order. 
  3. To search for a specific user enter their name into the search field and click Search.
  4. Click Send connection request next to the user you wish to create a connection with.  The user will receive a notification of your connection request and be able to approve it.

Removing connections

If you wish to remove a connection with another user, perform the following:

  1. Log into the e-portfolio tool.
  2. Click Groups then My Connections. A list of your connections will be shown.
  3. Find the connection you wish to remove and click the Remove from connections link next to their name. The connection will be removed.
