CAI provides an alternative to student's learning by allowing them to learn at their own pace through well designed instructional sessions.
  • Lynda.com is limited in its interactivity. The tutorials are all pre-recorded; therefore, there is no interaction with the instructor; it is strictly computer-assisted instruction.
  • The e-learning environment is rapidly changing. New products are being developed at an alarming rate. Lynda.com prides itself for its up-to-date training tutorials.

In summary, this analysis has revealed that Lynda.com is ideal for an independent learner by offering 24-hour access. Its cost structure is reasonable offering a vast library of up-to date topics. Although the delivery method is restricted in the ability to communicate with the instructor, Lynda.com provides a flexible alternative method of learning.
