David,

This is an excellent Introduction. It is clear and well written, attractively presented, and contains all the required elements. My only suggestion is to include a graphic element, such as a photo or infographic.

I would also add, David, that you need to add an overview summary couple of sentences of why this particular selection of artifacts and then create a Collection and move your pages into it. Then ensure that the permissions are set to allow all logged on users to view the Collection and you can then remove your navigation column on the left as Collections automatically create navigation at the top of the pages.

Remember that you also need to create a Conclusion page in which you refer back to your original goals and reflect on the extent to which you feel you have met, exceeded or changed them over the program. Remember also that the program is called the M.Ed. (on this pages and others).

Thanks!

Debra

Hi Dr. Hoven,

I had intended for the overview to accompany each artefact on the right-hand pane... does this work?

Regarding the collections, I had actually used a collection (this is how I had created the left-hand menu bar on each artefact page) and disabled the top navigation bar since I didn't like how it looked. laughing I've switched it back to the standard.

Thank you for your feedback.

David,

I echo Debra's comment. Could you add a bit of information about why you chose this particular set of artefacts to include in your e-portfolio?

Hi Dr. Moisey,

Thank you for the comments - I have added some descriptive text beside each artefact link to describe how each one has helped me to grow and to identify the competency areas represented within each artefact.

Hi David:

Everything looks okay, but you will need to provide a summary of why you selected the artifacts you did as mentioned by Sue.

I really enjoyed reading your bio.

Hi David - very nice job.  This introductory page is clear, easy to read, and gives a nice window into who you are.  I appreciate how you talked to the life changes and fear of failure; everyone's journey has been so different, yet we are all here together.  I used to live near High Park - lovely area.
